Designed for those cyclists who are guilty of doing too many miles on the bike and not enough strength work to support it.

Whether you are training for your local sportive, your next big race or for general fitness, your programme is incomplete without strength work. Simply getting out on the bike is not enough!

Targetted strength work is the key to progress and success on the bike.

Cycling Bootcamp:

Each day will begin with a HIIT circuit session, followed by a nutritious breakfast and then out onto the bikes to explore the beautiful island of Mallorca, take on the famous climbs of Puig Major & Sa Calobra and enjoy the breathtaking scenery.

After each ride, you will refuel and recover before completing an evening strength session designed to both develop muscular strength and enhance neuromuscular function.

Free Time:

Outside of the training sessions, you will have time to relax and unwind or to explore the local area and beaches either for some quiet alone time or with other members of the retreat. Your free time is just that, so spend it however you wish.

Nutrition:

A traditional continental breakfast will be available, along with fruits and yoghurts.

A variety of nutritionally rich foods will be available for a self-catered lunch, meaning that you have the flexibility to eat as and when you want, you don’t. This will include but is not limited to, pasta, rice, salads, vegetables, fruit, cheeses, meat, fish & bread.

Your evening meal will be fully catered and served to you. A full menu will be provided but you can expect freshly prepared meals of grilled meats, traditional Spanish paella & lentil bolognese to name just a few. If you have any specific dietary requirements please do let us know so that our local chefs can accommodate your needs.

Here at Steels Fitness, we are passionate about well-balanced nutrition and high-quality products. We do not promote or support fad diets or a quick fix. For us, nutrition is fundamental to a healthy lifestyle and your nutritional habits should be easy to maintain.

The cycling boot camp will be a weekend of hard work and you will need to fuel correctly for it. We take great pride in our nutritional ethos and it will be reflected in the food provided on our retreats.
